My stay roomrate:
I am a budget-hotel guy. I am more interested to stay at hotels like Fave Hotel rather than some 5-star which couldn’t give the comfort I found ike in the budget hotel (Yes, I am defending myself, please don’t start with the pricing factor. LOL.)
You can see from the photo above that you would be charged for additional fee to get extra toiletries. The Aston Group management, who also had Fave Hotel, Mataram, Lombok under them, also occasionally charge you for extra toiletries; just like my stay in Aston Hotel, Kupang. The room was not spacious, but it’s enough for me (and more comforting, in fact).
As I always say in every hotel review:
we define a hotel by its breakfast.
I really love the breakfast area design. Both indoor and outdoor area are set beautifully to disseminate the cozy feeling. The menu was also satisfying for a budget hotel.
Feel the ambience shown above? Yes, I fell in love with Fave Hotel, Mataram, Lombok and surely would stay again given the chance. All food were put properly, aesthetically! Kindly observe the variants as shown above too. They were as tasty as they look. The egg station + siomay corner gave a bonus score for the stay.
- You won’t have any difficulty to find food or convenient store in the vicinity.
- The breakfast was great, enough said.
- Did you see the papaya jam in the breakfast carousel? No, it’s not as papaya as you may imagine. Been there, done that.
- I think Fave Hotel, Mataram, Lombok does not have to charge the visitor Rp 2.000,- (around US$ 14 cent, US$ 1 = Rp 14.300,-) just for extra pack of cottonbud. I mean, 14 cent of profit rather than visitor’s little joy for having clean pair of ear?
Fave Hotel, Mataram, Lombok, is recommended if you’re staying on budget, without neglecting comfort factor. Yes, it might be a little bit pricey compared to other hotel nearby, but why risk your stay? Additional bucks won’t hurt, not in Fave Hotel, Mataram, Lombok. I can’t be more agree with what’s written in their official website, “The Best Budget Hotel in Mataram, Lombok”.
